Prada “Bags” Its Employees –
Posted By Alan Sklover On March 31, 2008 @ 8:27 am In Uncategorized | No Comments
According to a published report, employees of Prada – the famous maker of high-end fashion accessories – are being ordered to clean the clutter from their desks, hang their coats in appropriate coatrooms, and refrain from eating any food at their desks – or risk getting fired. The report claims that an email has been sent by Miuccia Prada to all employees of Prada’s New York City headquarters declaring that “Desk and work surfaces should be clean and uncluttered . . . pictures, calendars, etc. should not be taped to cubicle/office walls . . . window shades should be even (either completely up or completely down) . . . absent extenuating circumstances, lunch may not be eaten at your desk.”
The memo reportedly ends with a warning: Those who violate these rules “may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.”
Hope everyone bears that in mind if they’re thinking of taking a job at Prada . . . or even buying a Prada handbag.
