Sklover’s Thought for the Week

“Stop asking if the glass is half full or half empty. Instead, ask “What’s in it? How did it get there? What can I do with it?”
- David Kauffman
At the office or on the job, the colleague or co-worker you want to work with is the person who gets the job done, who carries his or her weight, and who doesn’t make it more difficult for everyone else by wasting time and effort complaining. Be that person, the one who everyone would like to work WITH: before you know it, you’ll be the one who everyone wants to work FOR. Remember that, in every situation, every group, every game, “Utility beats Futility,” every day of the week.
