At work, your employer’s needs change over time. And your employer’s customers’ needs change over time, too. For this simple reason your skills and abilities, and your promotion of your skills and abilities, must adapt to those changes. If not, sooner or later you’re likely to be dropped from the team. Don’t let that happen. Instead, stay “ahead of the puck.”
