This sweet and striking comment was uttered by one of my favorite clients when we were discussing our respective religions. It was just so poignant, I have not been able to stop thinking of it. Bill is widely known and highly regarded in the media world, and with good reason: he takes people “as they are” and recognizes the universals in the human experience. No wonder he is so successful. At work, I truly recommend you bear in mind Bill’s powerful expression of the overwhelming commonalities among us, and its message: that the issues that divide us are fewer than the common concerns that unite us.
