“Anybody who is not pulling his weight is probably pushing his luck.”
– Adi Da
These 12 words convey so well my overall view of making a living in the 21st century. You need to be of value, make sure your value is known, and then ask for your value in return. From there, whether the issue before you is your salary, your job security or stock options, resolution flows rather simply. And it’s the same message, whether you are an employee, a consultant, a business owner or even an investor. Pull your weight, or push your luck. It’s a push-pull world.
