Did You Know That . . . ?

Fourteen states and Washington D.C. have given their residents the right to use medically-prescribed marijuana to relieve severe pain and neurological problems. But only one state – Rhode Island – protects its citizens from being fired for doing so in the privacy of their own homes. Employers are particularly concerned about the safety issues of employees having the drug in their systems at work. States legislatures are seeking a balanced solution to the problem.
