An Affidavit is a set of written statements that does three important things: (1) lets you tell your “story” of what took place when disagreement exists about that, (2) gives you greater credibility in doing so, and (3) prevents your employer, HR or Legal from claiming ever claiming you did not tell them something, or did not make a certain thing clear. Simply put, they are quite effective when faced with a workplace dispute.
