“Solitude is the soul’s holiday.”
– Katrina Kenison
Solitude may result in loneliness . . . or it might not. Solitude may be avoidance of others . . . or it might not. Viewed in the best way, solitude is a delightful and rejuvenating break from the daily demands and its constant disturbances that diminish your inner balance. Especially at work, don’t hesitate to treat yourself to a walk in the park at lunch, or a moment or two of quiet with your office door closed, during which you can give yourself the sweetness of a healing moment. You’ll be glad you did.
