“Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow. It’s what the sunflowers do.”
– Helen Keller
I hope you know the story of Helen Keller, who became both blind and deaf at the age of 19 months. She then went on to become the first deaf-and-blind college graduate, and then a world-famous author, lecturer and humanitarian. Could you or I, with such challenges, overcome them and achieve so much? The answer, which may surprise you, is “Yes, without question.” Whether at work or elsewhere, don’t let the small stuff get you down. Instead, always keep your face to “the light.”
