“Yesterday’s gone, and tomorrow is blind. That’s why I live one day at a time.”

– Willie Nelson

Want a great way to reduce your stress, especially in stressful times? Many of us have found that it surely helps to continually remind ourselves to live life one day at a time. Don’t agonize and don’t fret. Don’t torment yourself or lose sleep about problems that have not yet arrived. Most things we fret about never take place. Just take your life as it presents itself: one day at a time.

Each new day is nothing less that a new chance to do your best with what you’ve got. And each new day is just one day closer to the end of whatever painful times you are in. Just like you walk one step at a time, take life one day at a time. Fear not what you face not.

It works for me. It works for Willie. It will work for you. No matter what comes your way, just don’t lose faith.

This wonderful quote comes from, of all people, my son, Sam, who works in the music industry, and is a big Willie fan. Thank you, Sam. There’s nothing like getting words of wisdom from your own kids!
