“Life is not about how fast you run or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.”

At work, as in all aspects of life, we sometimes “fall down.” At work, this is most commonly a matter of involuntary job loss, or even loss of one’s license, career or even reputation. In personal life, it might mean loss of health, a relation, or even a loved one. Chances are it has happened to you, or one day it will. It’s just a part of life. Some are forever crushed; others face it with determination to “bounce back.” Should “falling down” happen to you, consider it a challenge, and not a catastrophic loss. Remember: it’s all about “how well you bounce.”

This helpful quote was submitted for our consideration by a recent visitor to SkloverWorkingWisdom, Karine S., of Warwick, Rhode Island, known for its proximity to wonderful beaches. Thank you, Karine. Beautiful thought.
