“Almost everything will work again if you just Unplug it for a few minutes, including yourself.”

At home and at work, if there is one thing I’ve learned about computers, hardware, software and all things digital, it’s that unplugging it for a few minutes will almost always fix the issue I’m facing. If there is one thing I need to learn more in my life it’s that I need to do that, myself. Whether it’s deep breathing for a few minutes before reacting to “that offensive email,” or going skiing for a week after working too hard, it works. And it’s a whole lot less expensive than computer professionals and ulcer doctors. And more fun, too. Go ahead, unplug yourself for a while. You – and everyone around you – will be glad you did.

“R.T.”, my Office Manager of many years ago, recently sent in this quote, “Just checking up” to make certain I’m taking it easy once in a while (with the emphasis on “once in a while.”) Thanks go out to you, “R.T.”
