Gosh, this thought seems so very applicable to our daily lives, among our old friends, regarding our new acquaintances, and surely, too, as to colleagues and clients at work. Some seem so very easy and flowing to collaborate with, in fact to uplift our day; others seem to embody the very definition of “oppositional.” Give each person the benefit of the doubt, as each is unique, and everyone has a bad day or two or three. But those who continually present you with little but stress, drama, blame and abuse simply have no right to be that way, and with right and good reason should be avoided to the extent possible. At least until they get “the message.” Patience is a virtue; enduring pain is not.

This thoughtful reminder was contributed by Carmen D., of Clearwater, Florida. Thank you, Carmen, and may your day be devoid of unnecessary and destructive drama and distress.
