At work and elsewhere, each and every day, so many forces, pressures, stresses and strains are “coming at you.” They will inevitably affect you in so many ways. No one is impervious. But, each of us can, and need to, stand ever vigilant for how they affect us, that they don’t diminish, corrode or pollute the very best within. Rather, ensure that they inspire and induce the purity you project. Guard zealously the faith embedded within you, your forward-looking perspective, and the inner strengths that lift you up, the values that guide you, the kindness you project. Grow within? Why, surely. Grow weary? Please don’t. Instead, strive to perpetuate your positivity.

What a sweet thought from Maya Angelou, among the sweetest poets of all time. Our thanks for this sweet saying go out to Blog Family Member Gretchen W. of La Jolla, California.
