Sklover’s Thoughts for the Work Week

Sklover’s Thoughts for the Work Week

“If you are afraid of wolves, don’t go to the woods.”

– Russian Proverb

Preparations are now underway for promotions where you work. Promotions elevate employees not only to higher compensation, but also to enhanced levels of responsibility, greater complexity of goals, and increased quality of competitors, both internal and external. Don’t fear. Rather, just do one thing: your honest best. Approach the challenge with confidence, audacity and focus that would convince even the “wolves in the forest” that you are nothing less than a winner, and a fierce winner at that. Said a bit differently, let the wolves fear you.

This quote was sent to us by Albert of Reading, England, UK, who clearly fears not a single wolf in his path. Hats off to you, Albert, for your contribution.

If you would like to contribute a saying, proverb or quote, we’d love to receive it and share it with our Blog Family. To do so, just send it to “The Boss,”
