I like this quote because it points to both the futility and the utility of seeking perfection. Of doing your very best, and letting go when you do. Of both the fool’s devotion to what can’t be achieved, and the wise person’s goal of as close to perfection as can be achieved. At work this week, do your best, and accept your best, if it really is your best. And, then, sit back and simply smile.
