Sklover’s Thoughts for the Work Week

Sklover’s Thoughts for the Work Week

“I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.”

– Stephen Covey

In good times and bad, in easy times and difficult, it’s important to keep in mind that so very much of who you are is a product, not primarily of your circumstances, but of your decisions. Circumstances are surely a factor in each of our lives, but background can be overcome by good decisions, day in and day out.

Think about it. Try to make each decision, each day, small and large, the best decision you can make, at home, at work and everywhere else. Ask yourself whether your decision supports your long term values, your health, your happiness, and those of your loved ones. Doing so will inevitably lead you to a successful life.

This insightful quote comes from a blogsite “family member,” Inez D. of Camden, Delaware. Inez, a nurse, asks all of our readers to make the best decision each day right now: to stay put at home if you can, to quell the rise of the deadly virus among us. Inez, our heartfelt thanks and our prayers go out to you, and all of those who are risking their lives each day for our own health and lives, and of our loved ones, as well.
